Jordan Fields

Jordan Fields (she/her), originally from Maplewood, New Jersey, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020. Notably recognized as the Omicron Delta Kappa Senior of the Year, she then contributed to policymaking in the Peduto mayoral administration, co-authoring the C.R.O.W.N. Act for Pittsburgh.

Currently pursuing dual degrees in tax law at Pitt Law and urban and regional economic development at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, Jordan is dedicated to advocating for marginalized communities. She brings a unique perspective as a joint degree student and aims to connect and empower Black graduate students at both institutions.

Beyond her studies, Jordan's passion for social justice is reflected in her avid reading of non-fiction literature, focusing on civil rights, history, and public policy. Her commitment to effecting positive change aligns with the organization's mission to promote racial equity and justice.
