Ndee Chinazaekpere

Ndee Chinazaekpere (she/her), originally from Nigeria but primarily raised in Houston, TX, is a passionate advocate for community health and social justice. She holds two B.S. degrees in Natural Sciences and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, along with a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. Currently pursuing her M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Ndee's journey has been shaped by her experiences as a student-athlete, a patient care technician at UPMC, and her dedication to volunteer work.

As the only medicine-focused member of the board, Ndee brings a crucial perspective to the team, recognizing the interconnectedness between larger societal factors and health outcomes in marginalized communities. Her motivation to join the board stems from her desire to integrate healthcare into community-based initiatives and advocacy efforts. With a vision to seek holistic solutions, Ndee plans to leverage her connections between medicine, law, public health, and policy to serve the communities effectively.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ndee's personal values are deeply rooted in service and community. She sees her future career as a physician as an extension of her commitment to serving others. Her alignment with the organization's mission to serve marginalized communities and invest in community-driven initiatives reflects her core values and aspirations for a meaningful and impactful career in healthcare.
